My cup runneth over. Such prolific writing I've decided to hold my blogs until seasons end if I can refrain myself in doing so. Season 6 of HAHN Tyler Perry is satisfying every hunger and quenching every thirst while remaining unpredictable. Superb!
Greenleaf reaffirms my opinion of the circus that Christianity has become and a great view of the character likes who hide behind it. However, it is unremarkable and magnificent storytelling. Kudos to writer Craig Wright and Oprah Winfrey. Finally, something to share at the family dinner table on so many levels. I no longer attend church, found him for myself years ago now my church lives within me. Grace has her name for a reason when I see her I'm reminded of:
- Isaiah 11:1-6
- And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
6 The
wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down
with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together;
and a little child shall lead them.
Last and not least for all of the stories are equally great, is The Night Of HBO's new mini crime series. Zaillian and Price made it, (the criminal justice system) all surreal from different vantage points while telling a compelling story. Marvelous.
The shows are all fantastic.

It's been said "a picture is worth a thousand words" so can you imagine how many words a writer uses to create a scene or tell a story. It's amazing watching words paint a picture especially an amazing one! Kudos to Tyler Perry, Craig Wright, and Steven Zaillian & Richard Price.
